Description
Manor House is a house dating from the 15th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of roughcast coursed rubble and has a tile roof. The building features three roof bays that are aligned east to west, with a stack located at the west end of the north wall. The south front has two storeys and includes two 2-light casement windows. On the ground floor, there are three windows; the two outer ones match the upper casements, while the central window is likely from the 16th century and features a wooden architrave with two diamond mullions. The entrance, located to the left of centre, has a 20th-century lean-to tiled canopy and a 20th-century ledged and boarded door. Inside, the west room boasts heavily moulded ceiling beams and an inglenook fireplace. The roof structure includes purlins that are clasped by curved struts and slightly curved wind-braces.
