Description

This headstone, located about 25 yards south of the chancel of the Church of St Bartholomew, dates from the 17th to early 18th century. It is made of carved sandstone and features linked scrolls above a frieze and a recessed inscription panel. The inscription reads: "Here Lyeth The BodY of Elizabeth ThoWIS (?) Of This Parish ..."
