Description

This headstone, located approximately 7 yards northwest of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Whittingham Village, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is made of sandstone and stands about 2 feet high. The headstone features a scrolled pedimented top adorned with an angel's head. The inscription area is a raised panel framed by pilasters, although the inscription itself is worn and difficult to read.
