Description
This headstone, located approximately 15 yards east of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Whittingham Village, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It features a worn inscription and is made of elaborate rustic Baroque sandstone, standing about 3 feet high. The headstone has a swan-neck pedimented top that frames an angel adorned with swags. Below the angel, there are pilasters and a depiction of skull and bones. The inscription reads "Hora Fugit."
