Description

This is a garage and shed, originally a stable and cart shed, located in the garden of Leaside in Whittingham Village. The structure dates to the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of brick in irregular bond, with Welsh slate and pantiled roofs.

The building is single-storied and four bays wide, divided into two sections. The earlier section, on the right, has a fixed nine-pane window and a boarded door. It has a steeply-pitched pantiled roof with tumbled brickwork in the gable. The later section, to the left, features two boarded double doors and a Welsh slate roof with a relatively shallow pitch.
