Description

This is a headstone dating from 1771, located approximately 8 yards northeast of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Whittingham Village. It commemorates Robert Gibson and is made of sandstone, standing about 2 feet 6 inches high. The headstone features a pedimented top with a carving of an angel, and the reverse side includes a memento mori.
