Description

Oaklands is a house dating from the 17th century, with 20th-century alterations. It features a timber frame with painted brick and plastered infill, a sandstone rubble plinth, and a tiled roof added in the 20th century. The building has two framed bays aligned north to south, with the entrance located on the east side and an axial stack. It stands two storeys tall. The east front includes one three-light and one two-light casement window, while the ground floor has three similar two-light windows to the right of a glazed 20th-century lean-to porch with a glazed door. There is a single light window to the left of the porch. The interior has not been inspected.
