Description
Temple Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with early 18th-century alterations and further changes made in the 19th century. The building features a combination of timber framing with painted brick infill and sandstone rubble, along with brick refacing on the entrance front. It has pantiled roofs and a rectangular plan that includes a central entrance and stairwell, gable-end stacks, and an added wing at the rear. The farmhouse stands two storeys high with attics and has raised verges.
On the south front, there are three 2-light cross-casement windows with segmental heads. Similar windows are located on either side of the central entrance, which has a ledged door. A tall staircase window is visible at the rear, featuring two lights with two transoms and leaded lights. The interior is not accessible.
