Description

The Thomas Carrier memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 15 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St Deinst in Llangarron. It dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed from ashlar stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and a slightly hipped, moulded capping. Square balusters are set in rebated corners, flanking a fielded rectangular inscription panel that includes a floral motif in the corners. The memorial commemorates Thomas Carrier, who died in 1853.
