Description
The Thomas monument, located about 20 yards south of the tower of the Church of St David, is a chest tomb dedicated to Susanna Thomas, who died in 1803. It was created by T Parry of Warmlow Tump and is made of sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a deep moulded base and a hipped moulded capping, along with corner balusters. The side panels have margins with quadrant corners. This monument is notably short and, while rectangular, resembles a pedestal tomb.
