BISHOP'S CASTLE C.P. BRAMPTON ROAD (south side) Thomas Memorial approximately 17 metres to north of porch of Church of St. John the Baptist

GV II Pedestal tomb. Late C18. Sandstone ashlar. Moulded plinth and cornice, and pyramidal capping to egg-shaped wreathed finial. Inscribed: "In Memory of William Thomas Esq Late Town Clerk of the Borough who died January 17th 1792. Aged 49".
