Description

This memorial, located about 5 metres south of the nave of the Church of St John the Evangelist, was erected in memory of Wm Daniel, who died on July 25th, 1820, at the age of 42. It features a simple square plinth that supports a box resting on large claw feet, which is topped by an urn finial. The main inscription is on the west face, framed by an oval design with foliage, reading: "Sacred to the memory of Wm Daniel who died July 25th 1820 Aged 42."
