Description
This barn, located approximately 30 meters south-west of Court Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring a sandstone rubble plinth and brick infill, which is partly painted. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos. The barn consists of four bays that are aligned north-east to south-west and has four irregular square-headed openings. There are three square panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate, and V-struts are present in the gables. This barn is included for its group value with Pontrilas Court, although Court Farmhouse is not part of this listing.
