Description

This field barn, located at SO 402263, dates from the 18th century and has a later addition from either the late 18th century or early 19th century. The original structure is timber-framed and features later weatherboard cladding, while the added section is constructed from sandstone rubble and has a corrugated metal roof. The barn consists of four framed bays oriented northeast to southwest, with a threshing floor entrance located southwest of the center. A five-bay stone addition connects to the northeast, extending to the northwest and also includes a central threshing floor entrance. The barn is supported by inclined strut trusses.
