Description

Etson House is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It has a timber frame finished in roughcast and features a plain tiled roof with an external stone stack and a detached brick shaft on the east side. The building is two storeys high and has three windows aligned east to west. On the north elevation, there are regular 2-light mid-19th century casements and a mid-20th century glazed door located in a latticed early 20th century gabled porch. To the left of the stack, there is a single-storey early 20th century extension with two windows. Together with its barn, Etson House forms a pleasing minor farmhouse group.
