Description
This is a late 18th-century brick barn located along the south side of the farmyard at Ridge Farm in Elton. The barn has a pantile roof and a swept roofline over an off-centre cart entrance that rises above the eaves. Ventilation slits are present. Straight joints at the right end and a shorter joint at the left suggest a possible rebuilding at some point. The roof has steeply pitched brick-coped gables. A lower addition is situated to the left of the main barn. The interior of the barn has not been inspected.
