Description

The gazebo, located in the grounds of the former Elton Manor approximately 100 metres south-southeast of the Church of St Michael and All Angels, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century, as indicated by a plan from 1834. It is constructed of brick with a limestone band, copings, and finials. The structure features a large round-arched entrance portal with an impost band and keystone, as well as a double-chamfered arch and chamfered corners. At the rear, there are corner buttresses. The gazebo is topped with an embattled parapet that has ball and stalk finials on the corner piers. Inside, a plain wooden stair leads to the roof.
