Description
This threshing barn, dating from the late 18th century, is located on the east side of Main Street in Stanford on Soar. It has a pantile roof and brick coped gables with kneelers and single ridge finials. Dogtooth eaves run along the roofline. The barn is one and a half storeys high and three bays wide. The central doorway is large and blocked, now containing two lozenge-shaped ventilators. Two similar ventilators are located on either side of the central doorway. The barn is listed at group value, recognising its contribution to the character of the surrounding buildings.
