Description
The gateway to the Church of St. Peter churchyard, located 6 metres north of the church, dates from the late 19th century. It is constructed from ashlar, wood, and iron. The central feature is a stepped wall with shaped coping, which includes a segmental arched gateway that has wooden double gates fitted with iron hardware. On either side of the central wall are additional ashlar walls, each one and a half metres high, also with shaped coping. These walls curve outward and end in single piers that have shaped coping. This structure is included for its group value.
