Description
Garden House is a mid-18th century house constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. It features a single ridge and a right gable with red brick stacks. The gables have kneelers, with the right gable coped in ashlar and the left in brick. The eaves display a dogtooth pattern. The building has two storeys plus an attic and consists of four bays. The main entrance includes a doorway with a fielded panel door and an overlight. To the right of the doorway is a single glazing bar sash, while to the left are two similar sashes. On the upper floor, there are three additional similar sashes. All openings are topped with painted wedge lintels and keystones. In the attic, there is a flat-topped dormer featuring a single casement window. Set back to the right is a single-storey lean-to, also of red brick and pantile, which has a single similar sash and lintel. The left gable facing the road has two large glazing bar Yorkshire sashes on the ground and first floors, with a single similar sash above, all featuring similar lintels.
