Description
This is a house located at 33 Balderton Gate, built in the mid-18th century, with early 19th-century and late 20th-century alterations. The structure is made of brick, featuring a rendered right gable and a steeply pitched pantile roof. It has a first-floor band, a single coped gable, and a single gable stack. The house is two storeys plus attics and has a two-window range, with a glazing bar sash window on the left and a blank space on the right. Above this, there is an off-centre 20th-century gabled dormer. On the ground floor, there is an altered 19th-century glazing bar shop window with panelled shutters and a cornice, flanked on the left by a glazing bar sash window with a rubbed brick head, and on the right by a half-glazed door set in a porch made from the remains of a demolished adjoining building.
