Description
33 Northgate is a former stable and house that has been converted into a barber's shop. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone alterations in the late 19th and late 20th centuries. The building is constructed of brick, partly colourwashed, and features a hipped pantile roof with a single rear wall stack. It stands two storeys high and has a single glazing bar sash window. The late 19th century wooden shopfront has been altered and includes a three-light window with a cornice. To the right of the shopfront, there is a 20th century door. This building is included for its group value.
