Description

No. 18 Northgate is a house, now vacant and boarded up, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof, featuring a single rear wall stack. The openings of the house have segmental heads. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range, with three of the windows being blank. The entrance is an off-centre four-panel door with an overlight, which is flanked on the left by a single window and on the right by one larger window and one smaller window. The left gable facing the street has a segment-headed glazing bar sash, and below it is a similar boarded window.
