Description
The War Memorial in Warsop, dating from around 1920, is made of limestone ashlar and granite. It features a square plinth with two steps, leading up to a bolection moulded square pedestal that has an inscription on the east side. The memorial has a panelled square shaft adorned with a pilastered panelled frieze and cornice. On the east side, there is a granite panel that is dated 1939-45, with a sword depicted above it, followed by the inscription 'Pro Patria 1914-1918'. The north and south sides also include inscribed panels.
