Description
The boundary wall, gates, piers, and overthrow at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul date from the mid-19th century. The wall is made of coursed squared rubble and features gabled stone coping. It is designed in an L-shape with a rounded corner. To the south, there is a gate flanked by panelled ashlar piers topped with hipped ashlar caps, and a pair of iron spearhead gates. Above this, there is a scrolled foliate wrought iron overthrow with a lamp bracket. To the north, there is another gateway with similar piers and 20th-century gates. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
