Description

The boundary wall at the Church of St Paul and St Peter dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a triangular stone coping with a battered profile. The wall was rebuilt in 1853 and again in 1984. To the left of the south gateway, there is a stone inscribed with 'W March rebuilt this wall June 1853'. To the west, there are three square ashlar gate piers that have chamfered bases and pyramidal caps. This structure is included for its group value only.
