Description

The boundary wall, gate piers, and gates to the churchyard of the Parish Church of Saint Peter in Church Knowle are likely from the 18th century, although they may have earlier origins. The wall serves as a retaining wall and is constructed from rubble stone, topped with rough flat stone capping. The gate piers are made of ashlar stone and feature pyramidal caps. Simple iron gates with an overthrow complete the entrance.
