Description

Old Mill House is a mill house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble and features a pantile roof with a catslide at the rear. The building has two storeys plus garrets and is arranged in an L-plan with three bays.

The south front has an off-centre door, which is flanked on the left by two casement windows and on the right by a margin light sash window. Above this entrance, there are three additional casements. To the east, there is a single-storey flat-roofed addition from the 20th century, which has three bays, a door, a garage door, and three casements. The east gable features a leaded casement, with another casement located above it to the left.

On the north side, there is a projecting gable to the left, with a lean-to addition to its right. The left side has two casements, one set in a round-headed recess, while the right side has a leaded casement with an elliptical head. Above this, there is a flat-roofed leaded dormer flanked by single casements. The return angle to the west has a door with a 20th-century stone hood and bracket. The west gable has a single casement window in the garret.

Additionally, there is an adjoining curved boundary wall to the north, made of coursed rubble with rubble coping.
