Description

WARSOP CHURCH ROAD SK 56 NE (east side) 2/143 Old Mill House 13.7.76 G.V. II Mill house. Early C18. Coursed squared rubble with pantile roof and catslide to rear. Single corner and 3 ridge stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets. 3 bays. L-plan. Windows are mainly C20 casements, some with glazing bars. South front has off-centre door flanked to left by 2 casements and to right by a margin light sash. Above, 3 casements. To east, single storey flat- roofed addition, 3 bays, C20, with door, garage door and 3 casements. Above, east gable has a leaded casement and above again, to left, a casement. North side has to left, projecting gable. To its right, lean-to addition. To left; 2 casements, one in a round headed recess. To right, leaded casement with elliptical head. Above, flat roofed leaded dormer flanked by single casements. Return angle to west has door with C20 stone hood and bracket. West gable has single casement to garret. Outside, adjoining curved boundary wall to north, coursed rubble with rubble coping.
