Description

Sabroan Cottage and The Old Orchard Cottage are a pair of cottages built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed from dressed coursed rubble and feature a tiled roof with a right dressed coursed rubble gable stack and a single double red brick ridge stack. The cottages are two storeys high with a garret and have six bays. From right to left, the front includes a single Yorkshire sash window with a lintel, a doorway with a part-glazed door and lintel, two Yorkshire sash windows, another doorway with a wooden door and lintel, and a single tripartite glazing bar Yorkshire sash window with a lintel. On the upper floor, there are more Yorkshire sash windows along with a single tripartite glazing bar Yorkshire sash window. At the rear, there are two and single storey wings and extensions.
