Description

A pair of cottages dating from the mid-19th century, situated on Main Road in Gedling. The cottages are constructed of brick with slate roofs, and feature single gable and two ridge stacks. They consist of a single range and six bays. The windows are Yorkshire sash windows, all with segmental heads. Doors are sheltered by timber hoods supported on shaped brackets. Each cottage has a central door facing the street, flanked by single sash windows. Above the doors, each cottage has three sash windows, with the central one being smaller. A casement window is located on the south gable to the left, and a single casement window on each floor to the right.
