Description
A pair of cottages, now two houses, dating from the late 18th century. The buildings are constructed of brick with a concrete tile hipped roof. They feature a rubble plinth and bands marking the first and second floors. There are two ridge stacks. The cottages are three storeys high and three bays wide, arranged in a single range. Most windows are Yorkshire sash windows with segmental heads. The south-east front has two doors with segmental heads, each accompanied by a sash window to the left. A 20th-century casement window is located to the right of each door. Above the doors are three sash windows, and above those again are three smaller sash windows with square heads. The west gable includes an early 20th-century lean-to addition to the left, alongside a casement window. Above, there is a casement and a blocked opening. The rear elevation has a small 19th-century lean-to addition to the right. Number 11 features cambered fireplace bressummers and span beams. The winder stair has been altered to include a square newel.
