Description

The Cottage and Meadow View is a pair of cottages dating to the late 18th century and the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed from dressed coursed rubble, with the right-hand cottage painted. The roof is tiled with pantiles. There are two red brick gable stacks, and the right-hand gable has a stone coping with a kneeler.

The cottages are arranged over one and a half storeys, with four bays. Two doorways have wooden doors, flanked by single glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. Above are three small glazing bar Yorkshire sashes, the one on the left being slightly larger. To the right is a lower one and a half storey wing constructed from painted dressed coursed rubble, brick, and pantiles, with a central front and right gable stack. It contains a single glazing bar casement window. Above are two glazing bar sashes breaking into the eaves. To the left is a two-storey, single-bay wing constructed from red brick and pantiles with a left-hand gable red brick stack. It features single glazing bar sashes under segmental arches on each floor.
