Description
The former cartshed and attached outbuilding at Holbeck Hall Farm dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of dressed coursed rubble. The mid-18th century cartshed features a corrugated roof at the front and a steep pantile roof at the rear. It is a single-storey structure with five bays, supported by dressed coursed rubble piers, with the right bay partially blocked with red brick. The rear wall includes three buttresses. Attached to the right is the late 18th century single-storey outbuilding, which has four bays and a pantile roof with a raised eaves band. The outbuilding has, from left to right, a single blocked window, a single part-blocked window, a large doorway, a single part-blocked window, and a doorway with a wooden door and a glazing bar overlight.
