Description

The outbuildings to the northeast of the Hall consist of a barn, cottage, and another outbuilding, all under a continuous roof. They date from the early 18th century and mid 19th century. Constructed of red brick, they feature a plain tile roof and have one brick ridge stack. The structure is L-shaped, with the 18th-century section on the west side having a first-floor brick band. The west elevation has four bays, with two 20th-century windows on the left, a small window on the right with diamond glazing, followed by two breather openings, a blocked window with a segmental head, and two additional windows with segmental heads. The first floor has four blocked breathers on the left and two 20th-century dormers above, along with two breathers on the right and a 19th-century gabled dormer with diamond lights. The irregular east elevation features a pattern of vitrified headers at the south end. The east range has been largely rebuilt in the mid 19th century, but there is some fragmentary evidence of a timber frame. The north elevation includes a gabled bay on the right that has been converted into a cottage, with double doors to the left and a door with a segmental arch further left. There is also a circular pitching eye and diamond pattern breathers. A wall is attached to the south, along with gatepiers that have stone caps and ball finials. The outbuildings are listed for their group value only.
