SK 13 NW PARISH OF SOMERSAL HERBERT CHURCH LANE 1/28 (South Side) Lychgate to Church of St Peter GV II

Lychgate. c1920. Coursed squared sandstone and sawn timber, with plain tile hipped roof, advanced to north and south. Chamfered stone base supporting a timber superstructure of massive square timbers closely set. Gates to north side with plank uprights diagonally braced with curved top. Good wrought iron work.
