Description

An 18th and 19th century house with an attached outbuilding. The house is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and brick gable stacks. The north elevation has two bays. The left-hand bay is lower and features a dentil cornice, a two-light segment headed casement window on the ground floor, and a Yorkshire sash window above. The taller range to the right has a segment headed doorway with a 19th-century panelled door and a glazing bar sash window with a segment head. There is also a glazing bar sash window above, set within a flat arch, on this range. Single-storey outbuildings extend to the right, under a continuous roof; the end section was formerly a slaughterhouse and still contains its hoist wheel. 20th-century additions to the south are not of special interest. The property is listed for group value.
