Description

This is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century and the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a Welsh slate hipped roof, featuring three brick ridge stacks. The building is two and three storeys high. The west elevation, which has four bays, features four three-light, segment-headed casement windows on the ground floor; the right-hand window is blind. Matching windows are positioned above. The south elevation is symmetrical, with three bays. A central 19th-century wooden porch is supported by chamfered columns. The entrance door is raised and fielded panel work, with a rectangular overlight including margin lights. It is flanked by 19th-century canted bay windows. Above the porch, three single-bar sash windows are set within 19th-century painted surrounds, each with an 18th-century segmental arch above. Further casement windows are located above, with the central one being narrower and set in painted surrounds.
