Description
The cartshed and granary at Hall Farm, located approximately 120 metres southwest of the farmhouse, is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble magnesian limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has five bays. The first four bays contain basket-arched cart entrances that are separated by square piers with chamfered arrises. The fifth bay has a door to the left of a window.
On the first floor, there are three rectangular window openings with projecting stone sills and flat-arched heads. There are external stone steps on the right side leading to a first-floor doorway. The rear of the building shows two deeply-trenched grooves, which may relate to a former lean-to, and it has two old three-light wood-mullioned casement windows, along with two eaves stacks on the left. The left side features a three-light casement window on the first floor beneath a flat arch. The right side has a blocked window to the right of the steps and a flat-arched door leading to the landing.
Inside, the floor has been removed, revealing pattern-book king-post trusses.
