Description

This is an 18th-century house and shop, altered in the 19th century. The front is painted brick with rendered areas and has a concrete interlocking tile roof with a brick kneeler. The building has one bay over two stories, featuring a plinth, a brick band at first-floor level, and a dogtoothed eaves course. A 19th-century shopfront is on the ground floor, with a half-glazed panelled door set within panelled reveals and a wooden doorcase incorporating a plain overlight. The shopfront and door have wooden pilasters that rise from engaged base blocks and support a narrow, continuous, moulded flat hood. The first floor has a single 19th-century sash window with a segmental head. The building is listed for group value only.
