Description

A tower mill, built around 1878. The mill is constructed of tarred red brick with decorated eaves. It has a wooden cap featuring a pointed ball finial and a fan rudder. The structure rises three storeys. A doorway is located on the south side, featuring a rectangular head and a plank door with partially fixed glazing bar casements positioned one above the other. Two similar partially fixed glazing bar casements are present on the north side, also arranged one above the other. The interior machinery is largely intact, with the exception of the stones, and includes a central shaft, a willower, a windshaft wheel, a windshaft, large and small cogwheels, and grain shoots. It is recognised as the most complete windmill in West Lindsey.
