Description

Hawthornhouse Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage that has undergone some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a pantile roof with a rendered coped south gable, which includes a single gable stack. The building is two stories high and has three irregular bays. There is a doorway on the right with a plank door and a 20th-century painted wood latticework gabled porch. To the left of the doorway, there is a small casement window, with two small sliding sash windows located above it.
