Description

The Angel Inn is a public house dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the early 19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a slate roof with two gable and one ridge yellow brick stacks. The building is two stories high and has a four-bay front. It includes a plinth and an off-centre 20th-century planked door with an overlight and wooden surround. To the left of the door are two plain casement windows, and to the right is a single two-light casement. On the first floor, there are three similar windows. All windows have 19th-century yellow brick segmental heads and 20th-century louvred shutters.
