Description
The Mole Inn is a public house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with some squared stone and brick dressings, topped with an old plain-tile roof that features brick stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a basement. The front facade is irregular and has three windows, with a doorway located between four-pane-wide sash windows and a smaller sash window on the extreme right. All windows have segmental arches and brick quoins. On the first floor, there are casement windows consisting of three, one, and three lights, while the left bay includes a basement window. The roof has stacks positioned to the right of centre and at the left gable. There is a small 20th-century extension to the right and at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
