Description

Barn Close is an 18th-century cottage that was heightened in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with a Welsh slate roof, featuring a brick central ridge and end stacks. The front facade has two storeys with four two-light windows on each floor, comprising casement, fixed, casement, and horizontal sliding sash windows. Below are three two-light horizontal sliding sashes. To the centre left is a single-storey projecting lean-to with a three-light horizontal sliding sash window. On the right end is a small glazed porch incorporating a door, and a further single-storey extension with a three-light horizontal sliding sash window. Interior beams are visible.
