Description
Rosedene is a cottage dating from the 18th century, constructed from coursed rubble stone with stone dressings and quoins. It features a Collyweston slate roof with moulded stone end stacks and stone coped gables. The building is two storeys tall and has a T-shaped plan, with the wing facing the road and a lower span to the left.
On the gable end, there is a two-light casement window on both floors. To the right of this, there is a door with a two-light window above it, and a 6/6 sash window on the facing wall of the main range. The rear of the building has two 8/8 sash windows on both floors, all featuring cambered stone lintels and stone sills. Additional doors and windows are located on the lower span and the left end gable of the main range.
