Description

Waterfall Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage that was raised and extended in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins, and has a Welsh slate roof with a brick ridge and end stacks. The cottage has a gable facing to the right, onto Waterfall Way. The front elevation features two three-light centre-opening casement windows on the first floor. On the ground floor, there are two similar casements, with a four-panelled door and overlight between them, and to the right, a two-light horizontal sliding sash window with a brick cambered lintel. Other ground-floor windows have wooden lintels. A three-light stone mullion window with a hood mould is set into the left-hand gable, above a three-light centre-opening casement.
