Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 16th century to the 17th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and squared stone with quoins, topped by a Collyweston slate roof featuring a moulded stone ridge and four end stacks. The gables are stone coped. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a wing that projects to the rear on the left side. It stands 2½ storeys tall and has five stone mullion windows, most of which have hood moulds. The left gable features a 3-light window, while the others are 2-light. Above these windows is a plaster concave cornice. On the second floor gable, there is a 2-light window with a worn stone tablet above it. The ground floor includes a similar 3-light window on the left and two 3-light casements on the right. The house has a cemented plinth and a door on the left end, with a blocked second floor window on the right end. Additional features include casements, hipped dormers, and a 20th-century one-storey extension at the rear. Inside, there are chamfered beams, one with a jewel stop, two stone fireplaces with four-centred arches (one of which has been relocated), and two inglenooks.
