Description

Priory Farmhouse is an early 18th-century and mid-19th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins, and has a slate roof with stone coped gables. There are two gable stacks, one of ashlar and the other rendered. The farmhouse is laid out in an L-shape.

The two-storey main front has three bays. The central bay features a 6-panel door with an overlight within an eared architrave, decorated with 19th-century scrolled brackets and a flat hood. Flanking the door are single, 19th-century tripartite rectangular bay windows with flat lead roofs. The first floor has three glazing bar sashes with timber lintels. Evidence of earlier window openings is visible.

At the rear is a lower service wing. An ashlar block with drilled vent holes indicates the presence of a larder.
