Description

21 St Mary’s Street is an early to mid-19th century building constructed of Wittering Pendle Stone, with a roof of stone slates. The architectural details include ashlar quoins, a plinth, and a band course which continues as the first-floor cills. The front facade features two Gothic windows with moulded hoods, hung sash windows with traceried glazing bars. At ground level, there are two six-panel doors beneath similar arches, one featuring a fanlight with Gothic glazing bars, and a semi-circular headed window with similar glazing in the centre. The building forms a group with Nos. 2 to 26, St Mary’s Street.
