Description
28A St Mary's Street is a building dating from 1671, constructed from coursed rubble with an old slate roof. The roof-line extends over No 29 to the end of the street at No 30. The taller section on the left features a loft door situated above two sets of modern double doors. The right-hand section also has a loft door above double doors, flanked by two small windows, with three small windows and double doors below, all in modern coursed rubble. The building has rusticated quoins, and the right part displays a well-crafted moulded wood eaves cornice from the 17th century or early 18th century, originally featuring a four-window elevation. Nos 27 to 40 form a group.
